Executive Branch
The Executive Branch functions as the Cabinet of the Student Body President and includes the Student Body Vice President, Chief of Staff, Treasurer, and Secretaries. The President appoints Secretaries to serve as subject advisors for completing the President's election platform. The Executive Branch also includes the Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior Class Councils, led by their Class Presidents, that program events to engage their classes.

Legislative Branch
The Legislative Branch, often referred to as the Senate, is a group of elected Senators that meet at weekly General Assembly meetings to introduce and pass legislation that allocates student organization funding, registers new student organizations, and provides official recommendations to University administrators on behalf of the Student Body. Senators may be elected according to their respective class standing or college of their major depending on the election cycle.

Judicial Branch
The Judicial Branch works to ensure that student rights are upheld at all times through involvement and judicial hearings and reviews. The Judicial Branch has the authority to investigate alleged conduct within SGA, declare acts of the other two branches unconstitutional if found to violate the Student Body Constitution or Bylaws, enforce the Elections Act, conduct attendance hearings, and oversee the impeachment process.
